Joylux vFit Reviews: Positive and Negative Reviews from Real Customers

Hear from women who used the red-light device for improving lubrication and pelvic floor strength

You may have tried red-light energy to treat wrinkles or heal a wound. Could the same technology work to rejuvenate your vagina?

With its combination of red lights, gentle heat and sonic vibration, Joylux vFit encourages blood flow and lubrication in vaginal tissues—offering similar benefits to med-spa vaginal rejuvenation treatments for a fraction of the price.

Women experiencing pelvic floor issues—including actress-turned-menopause advocate Halle Berry—say the vFit helped them increase moisture, restore bladder control and finally enjoy sex again after years of pain and frustration.

Find out what women had to say in this summary of Joylux vFit reviews from real customers.

Vagercise, an authorized retailer of pelvic health products, offers the Joylux vFit in stock with free shipping and a free trial of the PT-led Vagercise online course for pelvic floor exercise and education.

Does the Joylux vFit Actually Work?

With an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars, the Joylux vFit works for the majority of women who reviewed the device online.

Many women raved about the Joylux vFit as a menopause must-have, saying it helped them have better sex, improve vaginal lubrication and restore bladder control.

A minority of users said the vFit was too large or too warm, and some said they didn't notice improvement in their symptoms after using the device.

Joylux company data suggests that nine out of 10 women see improvement, with 95 percent reporting improved intimate wellness and 85 percent seeing increased confidence and sexual sensation.

Best Joylux Reviews

Joylux vFit can be life-changing for menopause symptoms

Judy calls the Joylux vFit her "magic wand" after the device helped her improve both bladder control and discomfort from vaginal atrophy.

"I've been using this for a couple of months now and I am almost back to normal," she wrote.

"This product is beyond stars. It should be rated in galaxies, and I would give it five," wrote Mandy, who said she felt like giving up on her self-esteem and sexuality after experiencing menopause around age 50.

"It is not a luxury item, it is a necessity," she continued. "I owe much of my well-being and sanity to this warm, red light."

Joylux vFit helps women have better sex

Numerous reviewers said Joylux vFit helped them enjoy sex again after experiencing common menopausal symptoms like pain with penetration, vaginal dryness and a feeling of being "loose."

Amy, who is experiencing perimenopause, wrote that the device "makes me more wet than I was in my twenties."

A 59-year-old reviewer said the device helped her relax and enjoy intimacy again after experiencing pain.

"I thought that part of my life and relationship with my husband was lost, and now it has returned!" she wrote.

Barbie noticed improvement after just three uses of Joylux vFit—as did her partner.

"I was feeling tighter and like things were working more down there," she wrote. "My husband was like, 'Umm, did you go to the doctor?'"

Joylux vFit is more affordable than other vaginal rejuvenation options

Camaro wrote that she saw similar results from two weeks of using the $395 Joylux vFit as she did from a trio of laser treatments totaling $1,800.

"This device basically does the same thing, and the best part is that you can use it in the comfort of your home," she wrote. "I can honestly say I'm having the best sex of my life."

Joylux vFit helps cancer survivors

A reviewer who called herself "Survivor" said she used the vFit for vaginal atrophy and dryness because she was unable to do hormone replacement therapy after having breast cancer.

"What a game changer!" she wrote. "The vFit has made daily life much better. The dryness has diminished after only a few weeks."

Joylux Negative Reviews

Not all customers see results from Joylux vFit

While some customers saw results after only a few sessions, others saw no improvements after weeks of use.

"Doesn't seem to do anything. No noticeable changes," one reviewer wrote.

"It is, essentially, an expensive dilator," another customer wrote.

Joylux vFit is not expected to work after two years

If your vFit doesn't work after two years? That's expected.

"vFit is intended to last two years when used according to our recommended protocol," the manual says.

Customers like Carol who read the fine print were disappointed.

"That's a pretty heavy investment," she wrote.

The heat from Joylux vFit can be uncomfortable for some

While the vFit's vibration patterns can be adjusted, there is only one setting for its six red LED lights, which are designed to emit a gentle heat. Not all reviewers found the warmth pleasant.

"It was very hot with no way to adjust the level of heat," one anonymous reviewer complained.

A reviewer named Christine said that the product burned her twice, worsening her symptoms.

"I'm now having extreme discomfort during sex," she wrote. "It's awful."

If the device feels too hot, ensure that the light window is fully inserted into the vagina, Joylux says.

The company recommends starting to use vFit for 6 minutes every other day, lowering the session time with discomfort and increasing the session length to 8 to 10 minutes in the weeks to come.

The size of Joylux vFit can be unmanageable for some

Prepare for a penis-sized insertion: The circumference of the vFit is about 4", making it slightly smaller than the average man—but still too large for some customers.

"It seems like this was made for a horse!!" Pam wrote in her review.

The first 4 inches of the device must be inserted so that all of the red lights are inside the vagina, which some petite customers found challenging.

"This thing is way too big," wrote KD. "It hurts, and you'll be lucky if you can get the part with the lights on it inside of you."

Some Joylux customers have experienced charging difficulties

Numerous reviewers complained about the time required to charge the device.

"If you just let it set for three hours, the battery will be completely dead. It will then take you another 12 hours to recharge," one reviewer wrote.

Other reviewers complained that the device stopped working or that the lights no longer turned on.

One possible explanation: After a session, the red lights will automatically be disabled for 2.5 hours to protect you from overusing the device.

But in the event of a product defect, Joylux offers a one-year warranty, provided you have registered the device within 90 days of purchase.
