Description

Like a massage gun can work out a knot in your neck, the Intimate Rose temperature therapy wand helps relax muscles and improve circulation in your pelvic floor.

Insert the wand either vaginally or rectally to relieve symptoms of pelvic floor tension, like pain with vaginal insertion and incontinence.

The temperature therapy version of the wand can be heated with warm tap water or cooled in the freezer to add soothing relief to your internal massage. The core of the wand retains temperature throughout your treatment.

An FDA-registered medical device, the wand’s patented dual-sided design helps release trigger points in both the superficial and deep muscles of the pelvic floor. The device can be used in both women and men.

Designed by a physical therapist, the wand can be used for conditions including:

• Vaginismus and dyspareunia: Involuntary contractions of the muscles surrounding the vagina, resulting in painful sex, medical exams or tampon insertion

• Vestibulodynia: Pain outside and at the entry of the vaginal canal

• Pelvic floor tension myalgia: Pain or tightness due to tight or shortened pelvic floor muscles

• Levator ani syndrome: Pain or tightness in the deepest layer of the pelvic floor

• Endometriosis: A painful condition in which the endometrium, tissue that lines the inside of the uterus, grows outside the uterus

• Anyone with chronic pelvic pain, including patients recovering from cancer treatment or vaginal or rectal surgery

Intimate Rose pelvic wands are fully-covered in smooth, medical-grade silicone for maximum comfort. For additional options, see the original Intimate Rose Pelvic Wand and Intimate Rose Vibrating Wand.

Per the manufacturer’s guidelines, use the wand once or twice per day, focusing on each trigger point for one to two minutes each.

How to Use

Before each use, wash the wand with warm soap and water. Lie on your side with a pillow between your bent knees or on your back with your feet flat and knees bent.

Decide which end of the wand to use: The longer, rounded end reaches deeper muscles, while the curved end with a pointed tip is designed for trigger points closer to the entrance of the vagina or rectum.

Apply a water-based lubricant to the first one to two inches of the wand, as well as the vaginal opening. Do not use a silicone-based lubricant, which can damage the device.

Practice a few deep breaths before inserting the device, letting your belly expand as you inhale and relax as you exhale.

Slowly insert the wand upon an exhale and move it until you find a tender area. With the same pressure you’d use to gently check a tomato’s ripeness, compress the wand onto the trigger point to relieve the pressure.

Move your knees left and right until you find a position that helps relieve the pain. Breathe deeply as you maintain pressure on the trigger point for one to two minutes.

The wand is rechargeable using a USB port.
